This weekend Bar and I attended Anime Los Angeles. The con was SUPER fun, and it was our first time in the dealer's room. (Though it didn't feel too different from the AA, probably because this was a small con.) I was really happy that everything was run so smoothly...and a big thank you to everyone who stopped by!! It was so cool to meet some Fresh Baked fans. Quite a few people mentioned they had picked up our previous books and wanted to complete their collection with Ouran. It's just really nice to be getting our name out there. And so far we've barely been completing one book a year, but this year we plan to be much much more productive.

Here's our table display. And yes, I drew a giant Tamaki cut-out.

Our doujinshi family is growing! (This photo is unedited, the sparkles really did exist. Really.)

We took shiny commissions. Most people coudn't tell the difference between my art and Bar's...it seems our styles are sort of morphing together lolol.

Here's some keychain commission samples we made. Fun fun.
And in case you missed it, Fresh Baked has a new doujinshi out!! Here's the info:

Series: Ouran High School Host Club
Genre: parody
Released: Winter 2009
Size: B5 (~7x10")
Pages: 46
Samples: cover | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6
Guest Artists: ~chupachup, ~korilin, =mikaii, ~minashiro, and ~thu
Our comics highlight the host club's trip to the zoo and Haruhi's birthday at a carnival. Nekozawa and the Zuka club make their entrances as well, and to spice things up, we've added a sophisticated activity section to stimulate your Ouran IQ. You can order this doujinshi at our site: [link]

I get excited when the watermelon's all colorful and I panic when it's grey.
And now, thanks to that icon that makes me slightly crazy (or more correctly, exemplifies my insanity), I have discovered your art. I think I'll subscribe now.
I apologize for any O.O reactions you have upon reading this comment. It is just very late and I am very hyper and your work deserved commentation.
